Remember that:
We use the passive when we don't know who said or did something, or it isn't important who said or did it.
Form of present simple passive

Active: S + V1/V-s/-es
Passive:

EX:
Active: Peter writes many books.
Passive: Many books are written by Peter.
Active: We don't speak French here.
Passive: French is not spoken here.
Active: Do they sell apples at this supermarket?
Passive: Are apples sold at this supermarket?
